How to install Decoder 2.1 on the Macintosh:

Double-click the DecoderInstaller.sea file to run the self-extracting installer. It will create a folder called "Decoder f". The "Decoder f" folder contains the actual Decoder application, documentation, and some example files. You can put the "Decoder f" folder anywhere you want on your system.

How to remove Decoder 2.1 on the Macintosh:

Find the "Decoder f" folder and drag it into the trash.

How to install Decoder 2.1 on Windows:

Double-click the DecoderInstaller.exe file to run the self-extracting installer. It will create a folder called "Decoder 2.1" in the location you specify in the installer. The "Decoder 2.1" folder contains the actual Decoder application, documentation, and some example files. It will also add a "Decoder 2.1" folder to your "Start Menu" that contains a shortcut to the Decoder application and a shortcut to Decoder's online help.

How to remove Decoder 2.1 on Windows:

Go to the Start Menu and select "Control Panels". Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon. Select the "Decoder 2.1" item in the list and click the "Add/Remove" button. This will start the Decoder 2.1 uninstaller application.

You can also run the "uninstaller.exe" program from the "Decoder 2.1" folder.
